HI BOOK LOVERS!

My name is Karla and I'm from Adelaide, South Australia. Reading has been a passion of mine my ENTIRE life. I grew up devouring The Baby-Sitters Club, Goosebumps and anything Roald Dahl and Paul Jennings - just to name a few. While all my friends were interested in pursuing sports, all I wanted to do was sit quietly alone and read.

In my adulthood I've mostly been drawn towards secondhand books and can't walk past a secondhand bookstore or market without stopping for a browse (or leaving with a stack or two). Buying pre-loved is not only more sustainable for the environment, it is also more affordable. Which is why I've started BETTER OFF READ BOOKS. All the books you'll find here are secondhand, carefully chosen by me and are in great condition. My goal is to place more books into reader's hands. And I don't know about you, but I loooooove that secondhand book smell...
